NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
February 27, 2026 - Meeting Recap
A huge thank you to everyone who was able to come to the meeting early on Friday to help assemble 140 care packages for unsheltered individuals served by Square One Ministry.  President Kim Campbell announced our next service and social project on Saturday, March 21, which will be a packing day for Rise Against Hunger with Savannah South and Savannah West.  RCSE also had three new member inductions - Blake, Marja, and Rachel.  Welcome to the club!  To round out our busy meeting, RCSE heard from four Red Badge members.

Tracie Macke talked about her solo hiking trip in the Grand Canyon and how she feels refreshed every time she comes to our Rotary meetings.  Frank Pennington said the most important thing to him in life is his family and shared his love of football (both American and European, i.e. soccer) and how amazing women have impacted him.  Ben Gosden spoke about his tenure at Trinity United Method Church and the book he authored about grace. Our fourth Member Minute was Thomas Barrow who is a Savannah native. He talked about his love for his family, our community, and how Rotary allows him to give back to this wonderful city.
