july service project - school supply drive for haven elementary
We will be collecting school supplies for students at Haven Elementary School, our partner school, for our July service project. Please bring supplies to one of the July meetings to be collected and delivered to the school before the school year begins.
For those members who prefer to donate funds, rather than supplies, please give cash or your check to either Andrew Cosey or Kerri Culver, who have graciously agreed to shop for us again this year. A list of the most needed supplies are below:

Gordon will introduce his Nine Gifts methodology for recognizing how all people operate– proving insights he has used to build leadership teams at Chatham Steel and Savannah Bee Company. Over the last 10 years, he has also been sharing this content with students at Armstrong/GSU, Savannah State and St. Andrews.
He will introduce you to his Chatbot named www.NineGifts.org which you can utilize after his presentation for personal development and for new insights into inter-personal challenges.

Achievement of Georgia, where he leads strategic fundraising efforts, cultivates community
relationships, and advances impactful volunteer engagement to support JA’s mission of inspiring and
preparing young people for success. This meeting is OFF SITE at the Georgia Southern University Armstrong campus (11935 Abercorn Street 31419).

John and Bess from Front Porch Improv will talk about what sets great teams apart and how a few key principles from improv can strengthen communication, collaboration, and trust. They will share how the Front Porch Improv Training Center helps businesses and organizations build stronger, more connected teams, while also highlighting the impact of Front Porch A.C.T.S., our nonprofit program serving local youth. As a Savannah-based organization deeply committed to our community, we're passionate about using improv to create positive change!
july 27, 2026 - back to school breakfast at haven elementary
Please join us on Monday, July 27, for our annual Back to School Breakfast at Haven Elementary where we will be delivering school supplies as well as books! All members are encouraged and welcome to attend. As a reminder, this is in lieu of our lunch meeting. We will NOT be meeting at The Pirates House on Friday, July 31.
