We will be meeting at The Pirates House this Friday. It is an IN PERSON ONLY meeting. We will be meeting in our normal meeting room - Captain Flints Hall. The side door to the room will be unlocked if you would prefer to use that entrance.
Our speaker for this Friday is Amy Shippy. She will talk about her experiences as a female entrepreneur who, to-date, has started three businesses in Savannah: Marche de Macarons, Lottiebelle's, and Blue Poppy Designs. She'll tell us about her background, what led her to start her businesses, and will talk about the challenges and opportunities that she faced.

Another Friday and another engaging presentation at RCSE! President Laura Lane McKinnon reminded everyone of the Thanksgiving Card service project and encouraged members to take a packet home with them. She also announced that there would be a Board Meeting following the meeting. Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Jason Jones introduced Kewaan Drayton and Madison Abernathy who spoke about Red Eye Film Productions and The Savannah Underground.
Kewaan and his business partners formed Red Eye Film Productions in 2017. The company creates content to help businesses build an identity. They wanted to take some of the money from Red Eye to invest in a creative business which is how The Savannah Underground was founded in March of 2021. The Savannah Underground is a pivot to traditional theatre with three scary stories that creates a 40 minute show. There are 15-20 members in the cast and each show can hold up to 35 people. The Savannah Underground is one of only two places in the country who specialize in this type of performance. In addition to the show, they have partnered with Kelley Tours to offer a ghost tour prior to attending the performance.
